A creative weekend

I had the best time on Saturday with my Best Female Friend!  At our church we have an annual ladies retreat in August.  I was asked to create the Invitations for this to be mailed out to several churches.  I showed my friend a sample and expressed that in order to complete the task in a timely manner;  I WOULD NEED HELP!  She volunteered and Saturday morning at nine we met at the church.  She was concerned because she has never done any paper crafting.  I think after this day I may have a convert!  We had an awesome time just creating, chatting and drinking coffee.  We were there until 3:30 in the afternoon and the time just flew by.  The treasure chest was created from a $1.00 ice chest and beads from dollar tree,  my Sunday School theme this quarter is Under the Sea.   What do you think?

Wow! I love all of your projects! I especially love the under the sea classroom! I assist/substitute teach at our church preschool so I know the kids will be amazed by the room decor! My kiddos are thrilled when we change up the room! It is like a whole new adventure every time!

Good job! A lot of work went into all that. I love the variety of the invites! That would be more fun than making dozens of the same design. And hopefully your Best Female Friend is now also a Best Scrapping Buddy!
