Here are my answers!
1. How close to your childhood dreams is your life now?
No where near my Imagination. In my Imagination I never dreamed that I would be married to such a wonderful man. I never dreamed that I could be so content without being a millionaire or living on a desert Island. I never dreamed that just having all that I need....could make me so blissfully happy. Not all I want...Just all I NEED! I am truly BLESSED!
2. What is one must have item for the summer?
AIR CONDITIONING! IT's SOUTHEAST ALABAMA....AIR CONDITIONING!
3. Do you have your kids stay up on school stuff during summer vacation? (Or, if you don't have kiddos, did your parents make you keep up on school stuff during summer?) When my son was small we did try, I always made trips to the Library and encouraged reading. Now he spends 98% of his time on the computer...Is that reading?
4. Do you can or freeze fresh produce?
No, I wish I did!
5. Do you get ready for the day first thing in the morning?
I am up between 4:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. daily and out the door by 6:00 A.M. so YES I am ready first thing in the morning!

1. How close to your childhood dreams is your life now?
Not even close. My dream was to live on a private island in the Carribean and paint pictures all day - no kids, no husband - just me and my paints in paradise. But, like you little sister, I too am truly BLESSED! God knows more about whare I need to be in this world than I do, so he sent me to central Alabama to marry and procreate. Oh, and make cards and scrapbooks in my craftroom. :D
2. What is one must have item for the summer?
And again, I have to agree: Air Conditioning . . . nuff said.
3. Do you have your kids stay up on school stuff during summer vacation? (Or, if you don't have kiddos, did your parents make you keep up on school stuff during summer?) Nope, never did. Summer was Summer exceprt for the couple of times my son had to go to Summer School or to a Special Studies program.

Not anymore. I did years ago (Odd thing, I seemed to have had nmore time for those things years ago when I was raising kids and working full time, but now that I'm retiured I don't seem to find enough hours in the day as it is).

Hmmm . . . can't really lie so I must confess, it is almost lunch time and I am sitting here in my jammies, so i guess a simple no should suffice.
